Ajax Security Issue with server

Hi xmodders I know this issue is not exactly directly related to xmod pro, but rather security settings on my server, but it affects xmod pro as well as a bunch of other stuff. I'm working to transfer sites from one install directory to another on my server, recreating the portals from scratch to clean up all the different issues that have accumulated over the last 5 years. Setting Template permissions for 'Anonymous' or 'All Users'

Hi All, I am trying to allow anonymous users to add items from a template AddRoles="All Users" but this does not display the add/insert button for anonymous users. How do I display the add button within the template for anonymous users? Thanks

EditRoles from Module

Hello, I'd like to use xmod to create a sort of "links" list form/template combo. But, it would need to be possible to have the edit roles inherit from the module. Is that possible? The trouble is that I can't hard code them in the template because we want to use this module for different people to use on the site in different locations. Does anybody know if that's possible? Getting Good Answers

How do you get good answers to your questions?   Ask good questions. That means:

  1. Good Titles: Give your question a concise but informative title. Rather than "Email Forms", use "Sending multiple emails from forms".
  2. Do Your Research: Check out the XMod Pro help file, the XMod Pro Guide on this site, do a search in this Answers forum. Members are friendly and more than happy to help, but it's good etiquette to show you've done your homework.
  3. Is It Answerable? Your question should be practical and answerable. Provide clear and accurate details about your specific problem. Be sure to include all the pertinent information or links to images and examples. 
  4. Show Your Appreciation: If someone correctly answers your question, come back and ACCEPT the answer. That gives them points and helps others know it was a correct answer. If members know you'll accept an answer, they'll be more likely to spend time on your next question(s).
