Is it possible to configure forms / templates to use custom-defined permissions? Currently, the Add, Edit, Delete, Detail roles are defined as normal DNN roles, but I'd like to be able to do this dynamically. I'd like to allow the user of my module to be able to define which roles are able to perform the various functions within the system rather than me defining this when the module is configured
Hello.. I'm creating a blog and individual users will be making posts; they're all part of the Blog Editor's security group. But, I don't want them editing nor deleting posts by other people. Is there a way (xmod:select (?)) to compare the current logged in user with the one which created the blog posting so they can see the edit/delete icons for only their posts? Thanks..
Hello.. We use XMP for our home page banner items. Currently, only administrators can add/edit/delete these items. Hello, I have created a child-portal to one of my sites. I'm able to create XMod forms and Templates - however, I am unable to set the permissions for the template Add, Edit and Delete buttons. Getting Good Answers

How do you get good answers to your questions?   Ask good questions. That means:

  1. Good Titles: Give your question a concise but informative title. Rather than "Email Forms", use "Sending multiple emails from forms".
  2. Do Your Research: Check out the XMod Pro help file, the XMod Pro Guide on this site, do a search in this Answers forum. Members are friendly and more than happy to help, but it's good etiquette to show you've done your homework.
  3. Is It Answerable? Your question should be practical and answerable. Provide clear and accurate details about your specific problem. Be sure to include all the pertinent information or links to images and examples.
  4. Show Your Appreciation: If someone correctly answers your question, come back and ACCEPT the answer. That gives them points and helps others know it was a correct answer. If members know you'll accept an answer, they'll be more likely to spend time on your next question(s).
