Hello.. I'm creating a blog and individual users will be making posts; they're all part of the Blog Editor's security group. But, I don't want them editing nor deleting posts by other people. Is there a way (xmod:select (?)) to compare the current logged in user with the one which created the blog posting so they can see the edit/delete icons for only their posts? Thanks..
I have a summary header template and a child template/form on the same page in different modules. In the child add/edit form, I use Redirect="." to refresh the page and sync the header with the detail. But I can't find a way to do the same when a detail record is deleted. Because I'm using the header template on more than 1 page, it's not practical to put the summary and detail into a single modul
Hello.. Is there a way to send out an e-mail when a record is deleted? I know and have configured emails for add/edit records, but would like to be able to send on when a record is deleted. Thanks..
Hi Folks, I have built a calendar app using the XMP FullCalendar kit. When I click on an event to view the detail, it displays properly, but if I hit the DELETE button it returns me back to the Month View, but the detail template appears below the master template (the calendar in this instance). I have not been able to find a way to do the delete operation and also return the user back to the mast

Getting Good Answers

How do you get good answers to your questions?   Ask good questions. That means:

  1. Good Titles: Give your question a concise but informative title. Rather than "Email Forms", use "Sending multiple emails from forms".
  2. Do Your Research: Check out the XMod Pro help file, the XMod Pro Guide on this site, do a search in this Answers forum. Members are friendly and more than happy to help, but it's good etiquette to show you've done your homework.
  3. Is It Answerable? Your question should be practical and answerable. Provide clear and accurate details about your specific problem. Be sure to include all the pertinent information or links to images and examples.
  4. Show Your Appreciation: If someone correctly answers your question, come back and ACCEPT the answer. That gives them points and helps others know it was a correct answer. If members know you'll accept an answer, they'll be more likely to spend time on your next question(s).
