My apologies if I'm duplicating my query here because I have also posted this (in error?) in the Discussion section rather than here! Anyway here goes - I'm a relative newbie to XmodPro and sql, so some patient help would be greatly appreciated to help me sort this. I have a page with a list view of news headlines that when each is clicked opens the news item in detail (postback). What I want to d
Howdy... I'm trying to build a POC for a client and I have tables/data/SQL and a template created. When I assign the template to a module it only shows data and buttons when we are in Edit mode on the page. This is even when I'm logged in as Admin/Host/SuperUser. Is there a module or page permission that I need to look at to get the template to display data while not in edit mode?
Hi All, I'm having what i assume is a simple mistake due to a lack of xmod expirience. I am trying to make a template that is just one step over simple and cannot get deletelinks or editlinks to work. I have also tried images for both and have the same problem. ... <DeleteCommand CommandText="DELETE FROM am_MonumentOrders WHERE [OrderID] = @OrderID"> <Parameter Name="OrderID" /> ... <table> <thead
I found an Answer ( http://dnndev.com/Learn/Answers/cid/9935) to a problem, similar to one I have, regarding the idea of nesting templates. Hi! I have a page with 5 XMOD Modules showing each one a slice of information of a person. I need to make them show information based on its master template, like on the image below. I appreciate any help to accomplish this mission.

Getting Good Answers

How do you get good answers to your questions?   Ask good questions. That means:

  • Good Titles: Give your question a concise but informative title. Rather than "Email Forms", use "Sending multiple emails from forms".
  • Do Your Research: Check out the XMod Pro help file, the XMod Pro Guide on this site, do a search in this Answers forum. Members are friendly and more than happy to help, but it's good etiquette to show you've done your homework.
  • Is It Answerable? Your question should be practical and answerable. Provide clear and accurate details about your specific problem. Be sure to include all the pertinent information or links to images and examples.
  • Show Your Appreciation: If someone correctly answers your question, come back and ACCEPT the answer. That gives them points and helps others know it was a correct answer. If members know you'll accept an answer, they'll be more likely to spend time on your next question(s).
