Hello.. On the template searchsort and pager are shown all the time, not matter if there's results listed in the template or not. is there a way to hide these until a results are shown and cleared when a clear search is requested? Thanks..
Hello.. For the FilterExpression, if someone enters two words separated by a "space", I'd like to replace it with a wildcard. So if they enter "Joe Smith", the FilterExpression will end up being '%Joe%Smith%'. Is that possible? E.g.: FilterExpression="FirstName LIKE '%{0}%'" TO: FilterExpression="FirstName LIKE 'REPLACE(%{0}%), ' ', '%')'"
I have a form that uses date input fields. I need to be able to filter applications where specific fields fall within a date range. The examples given for the <SearchSort> feature seem to provide a way for only one search input, however I don't see how to use this for two inputs so that the range can be searched. Is this possible?
I am using the SearchSort functionality to find records in my table. If the user searches for something that doesn't exist I was hoping to use the "NoItemsTemplate" to show a simple message "No records found" and a CommandButton that would reset the select statement to my initial SELECT * FROM.... Getting Good Answers

How do you get good answers to your questions?   Ask good questions. That means:

  • Good Titles: Give your question a concise but informative title. Rather than "Email Forms", use "Sending multiple emails from forms".
  • Do Your Research: Check out the XMod Pro help file, the XMod Pro Guide on this site, do a search in this Answers forum. Members are friendly and more than happy to help, but it's good etiquette to show you've done your homework.
  • Is It Answerable? Your question should be practical and answerable. Provide clear and accurate details about your specific problem. Be sure to include all the pertinent information or links to images and examples. 
  • Show Your Appreciation: If someone correctly answers your question, come back and ACCEPT the answer. That gives them points and helps others know it was a correct answer. If members know you'll accept an answer, they'll be more likely to spend time on your next question(s).
