It appears there is a major security issue in the DNN registration:

I am still on DNN 7.4. I tried to upgrade to DNN 9 but that gave a lot of serious issues. It appears upgrading is broken:

So I decided to go with the patch instead and wait for upgrade until they release a proper upgrade package.

Anyway, they mention that 3rd party registration modules might still give issues after the patch. I am using XMP 4.6.5 registration controls (adduser) on all my sites as a replacement for the DNN default registration.

Even though the security-patch installed fine, should I still be worried about security issues, since I am not using the DNN default registration, but XMP?
