While working in an XMP Template, using <xmod:LoadFeed> I can load the data from a feed into an Item Template. I can also load a feed into a detail template, if an item template does not exist. What I cannot do is load feed data into a detail template, if an item template exists. I am trying to display an image slide show in a detail template. Since I cannot embed a template inside the detail template tag, I thought I might try using a feed. I have the feed itself worked out but am struggling with how to actually call it when the detail template loads so it shows the images (slide show) along with the detail info. Anyone have an example of how to do this?
Hello, I'd like to have the master template just show the 'Details' link - and give the users the ability to Edit or Delete while viewing in the Detail template. However when I put the Edit and Delete tags in the DetailTemplate, I get an error message: Error Invalid Field Name. Please see Event Viewer for More Details. Is it not possible to have the edit and delete links in the Detail template?

Getting Good Answers

How do you get good answers to your questions?   Ask good questions. That means:

  1. Good Titles: Give your question a concise but informative title. Rather than "Email Forms", use "Sending multiple emails from forms".
  2. Do Your Research: Check out the XMod Pro help file, the XMod Pro Guide on this site, do a search in this Answers forum. Members are friendly and more than happy to help, but it's good etiquette to show you've done your homework.
  3. Is It Answerable? Your question should be practical and answerable. Provide clear and accurate details about your specific problem. Be sure to include all the pertinent information or links to images and examples.
  4. Show Your Appreciation: If someone correctly answers your question, come back and ACCEPT the answer. That gives them points and helps others know it was a correct answer. If members know you'll accept an answer, they'll be more likely to spend time on your next question(s).
