How to reference parameter sent by add link

What is the proper syntax to reference a parameter (which is a foreign key id) in the add form which was sent by the add link?

How do I pass form values to a stored procedure with AddForm and EditForm?

I want to create a generic stored procedure to take the values from an <AddForm> or <EditForm>, add or edit the appropriate record, then insert an entry in another table that acts like a sort of log of all actions performed. To perform multiple SQL functions like this I need to do it with a stored procedure. I thought that I'd like to make a very generic stored proc that will work for all adds and

Since XMP tags like (xmod:Select) don’t appear to be supported in the (AddSuccessTemplate)....

Since XMP tags like (xmod:Select) don’t appear to be supported in the (AddSuccessTemplate) of (AddForm) what is the recommended method to conditionally display blocks of HTML based on data [[Field]] Tokens. This question is somewhat similar to my prior question which has yet to be answered ;-)

(NoItemsTemplate) or (xmod:Select) for (AddForm)?

I’ve got a scenario where an (AddForm) is used with a (SelectCommand) returning a single (1) row to populate some “defaults”. It’s possible that the SelectCommand could return zero (0) rows. In that case I’d like XMP to render different HTML in a similar manor as (NoItemsTemplate) or (xmod:Select) in a template. The (Panel) tag would work if it had say a “ShowIf” attribute like it has a “ShowRoles

How does one set the "Form mode"?

The "Walk Through" in the online help says: Ensure that the Form Mode is set to Add . This tells the module to load the form defined in the <AddForm> tag. Where is this done?
