External database connection string for Form Builder

I have created a database external to the DNN database that I want to use to create my custom XMOD Pro forms and templates against. I've added a new connection string to the web.config file . My question is how do I reference this in the Form Builder when creating the form? I've entered the name on its own and clicked Load tables - nothing is loaded. I've prefixed it with ConnectionString: - nothi

Incomplete list of fields from table in external database

Hi. I am working with an external SQL Server 2012 database. I have made a few change to some of the the tables in the database, such adding new fields, changing the datatypes of some of the fields etc... When I try to create a new form using the form wizard, it does not pick up any of the fields that have been modified. How do I go about resolving this? Thanks

Getting Good Answers

How do you get good answers to your questions?   Ask good questions. That means:
