<p>Hi Xmod folks,</p><p>We have quite a few reports that are Xmod feeds in the HTML&nbsp;table-based XLS format. These used to work fine, once you clicked through the warning about the file format not matching the file contents. However, recently, perhaps Excel updated its protections and doesn't do anything when trying to open these files. I can work around it by opening the file in a text editor, then saving it, at which point it reverts to its old behavior. Or I can change the file extension to *.html, and open it from within Excel as a web page.</p><p>Do you have any other suggestions to make this work more seamlessly for my customers? I see the XML format, but on my computer that doesn't associate with Excel (probably all the programming editors I have installed).</p><p>Thanks, David</p>
