<p>Hello.. </p> <p>On a page, I have a form (Add) and a template below. The values of the form determines what the template displays. By default, the template is configured to show all the records. </p> <p>I have a text field to allow people to look for a specific record number; regex ensures it's an integer and nothing else. </p> <p>If I enter something other than a number and click on search, it shows an error saying this must be a number; this is good. </p> <p>But, if I click on the clear search button (cancel), it submits the request on the page refresh and I end up getting stating "Error converting data type nvarchar to int."<br><br>Why is this occurring? <br><br> </p>
