Well, it's March 31st, the last day of Quarter 1 2026. If you've read some of my other posts, you'll know that I was targeting Q1 as the time frame for a release. So, I thought it would be helpful to let you know where things stand. ## v5 is feature complete We've not only rewritten the Admin UI from scratch, we've added a bunch of features in the process. All of those are finished and we're not doing any new development for 5.0. We are still adding more tests for better coverage and continually running through the UI looking for ways to improve the developer experience -- your experience. Even though we've made it super easy to manage localization for your XMP solutions, we have not yet added localization to the app itself. There is a lot more text and more instances of text. That still remains to be implemented. We are continuing the rewrite of the Help documentation. A lot of it required that the UI be stable so we could add appropriate screenshots. There will be in-app docs as well as our traditional help site. ## Beta Coming Soon We probably could release v.5 as-is, in beta form - it's that close. However, we'd like it to be a little more polished before releasing. I'm hoping for a beta release in April and I'm looking for some ~~guinea pigs~~ intrepid, courageous customers to help work out any kinks. Thanks for your patience and continued support of XMP.
