Wouldn't it be a nice feature to have some kind of intellisense like visual studio or at least syntax highlighting. It would make the forms and templates more readable and easier to debug within the dotnetnuke environment.

Is there a file we can use with Visual Studio so IntelliSense works well when editing XMod files?

This post describes how intellisense files work in visual studio. Does this help ? http://blogs.msdn.com/mikhailarkhipov/archive/2007/10/19/how-to-create-custom-css-intellisense-schema-in-visual-studio-2005-and-2008.aspx

Would be great though, because we have already bundled all our forms and templates in visual studio projects combined with the use of sourcesafe, it's great to be able to check in/ check out/ recycle. We have already been using XMOD with a lot of development combined with custom controls and custom iviewplugins. It's really a very good solution, also the datamanagers are!

keep up the good work
