Does the latest version of XMod Calendar support recurring events?

If I have a form to record birthdays I want to be able to set the recurrence as in Outlook.

Any ideas if this can be achieved eith in XMod or XMod calendar?
we don't make XMod, we make it better!

I would also like to know if there is a way to do this in XMod Calendar.

Possibly at the form, by creating multiple events when the event is entered.

No. The calendar is designed as an alternate UI for XMod data. It doesn't have all the capabilities of a full-fledged scheduling app - including recurring events.

I have been seriously crippled by the core DNN calendar/events module.

I too want the xmod calendar to have ALL the same functionality as the core events module with respect to reoccuring events and everything else the module does.

Perhaps if we all throw together some funds we can have it built?

I would contribute money towards that.

Any interest?

Yes, I have also found the DNN Core Events module to never really work the way I need it to.
I would be willing to support the further development of XMod Calendar if it is feasible.
But I am not sure if it is really feasible. It may be more about the data driving the calendar than the calendar itself.
