<img src=/DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/_default/emoticons/biggrin.gif width=20 height=20> Greetings, I am new to XMOD and need to find out if XMOD will be able to handle a task that I have.

I will need to create a basic lead capture form and email and save the data. So far no issues there. When the form is submitted, I also need to call another app using a http request so that I can subscribe that user to an autoresponder on another system. Can I do this with XMOD in the same request? If so, what is the best way? Should I create a custom control or can XMOD do this out the box?

Thanks,

Vince

you can use the redirect tag with save=true.

build your target url from the form data then when the form is submitted it will re-direct to your other app posting the form data.

we don't make XMod, we make it better!

Thanks for the reply fatgeorge. I'm not sure if that will works since I do not want to redirect. I basically need a behind the scenes post of the data to the other app just so that it can save it. Think of it as just a call to a webservice to post some data after the form data is saved.

Thanks!
