I'm happy to announce the release of XMod 5.0.1

XMod 5.0.1 for DotNetNuke 4.3/4.4 and 4.5+

I'm pleased to release the latest version of XMod 5 - version 5.0.1.

This is a maintenance release for XMod 5.0 and is recommended for all users running DotNetNuke 4.3 or later. Though we recommend you upgrade to at least DNN 4.5.3. The patch can be found on Snowcovered's Patches and Hotfixes page - available from your "My Account" page on that site. The download file available from the Downloads page at Snowcovered has also been updated.

  • FIXED: FormView Install Results in Duplicate FormView Module Defs
  • FIXED: Unable to edit Forms in IE with FormBuilder
  • FIXED: Form Builder Tag Designers - Delete, Approve/Unapprove buttons not available
  • FIXED: New multiple URL Filtering does not support old method
  • FIXED: Approve/Copy/Delete Buttons Should Not Be Added to Forms By Default
  • FIXED: Select Tag required attribute not firing
  • FIXED: FormBuilder: Will not allow more than 1 textarea
  • FIXED: Email Notification Tag Not Saving in Firefox and Designer Not Loading in IE
  • FIXED: Custom Approve Button Doesn't Show Up in Grid
  • FIXED: Header/Footer in List Views Don't Display when switching from a no-records view to a some-records view

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

This file contains installation files for supported versions of DNN. Please unzip this file and ensure you install the file that is appropriate for your version of DNN - which you'll find in the Installation sub-folder. As with all updates, it is highly recommended that you backup your database and files prior to upgrading in the event you need to rollback to your previously installed version. This update can be installed on top of your existing XMod installation. It is installed as you would install any PA.

Sounds great. Too bad that Snowcovered seems to be having problems again (timeouts and the Server Error Screen). Hopefully they will get their speed up during the day so we can download this...

@garycass - I'm not aware that anyone is having a problem downloading it at this point. Could you send me a screenshot of what you see so I can pass it along to SC? You can send it to kford@knowbetter.com

Same issue for me - the listing is there, but no file link. I just purchased today and version 5.0.0 was provided by SC - not v5.0.1

@darenu: if you downloaded it today, you should have 5.0.1 already. Go to the Administration page of XMod and click on the About tab and see the version number listed there.
